I just found this great little video on YouTube: How to tie a ribbon bow (freehand) so that it lies flat to stick on your card.
I have always found bows a pain and a torment - the ends always stick out and keep twisting around so I usually beat them into submission with large applications of PVA glue ... this little tutorial works perfectly (just tried it).
Hooray for bows that do exactly what they are told!
Hi ... Thank you so much (very, very much) for sharing this tutorial with everyone. I have always had a problem when I tie bows, they never seem to come out right or one side of the ribbon is twisted. I will make 'perfect' bows from now on! Thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteYou are more than welcome! When I saw this, I knew it was the answer to all our prayers (when I think of the ribbon I've spoilt & wasted, the temper tantrums....) It's a great little video, isn't it.
