And Jennie of The Artistic Stamper takes it one step further using Tim Holtz's Grunge Paper (tough enough to put on a hat, photo frame, journal cover....)
I particularly like that these can be done with those embossing machines - or a rubber stamp or a punch - and still get the same great effects.
I saw Hels Sheridan demo these on Jennie's stand at the last show at Alexandra Palace and was wildly impressed (Hels has lots of samples on her blog and has been using this method for leaves, butterflies, more flowers....)
Unfortunately, by the time I got home from the show I couldn't remember how to do them so am doubly grateful to Jennie for the link and her own tutorial.
