TAKE NOTE! POST-IT NOTES PROJECT

Here's a great project for you - a Post-it notes holder - quick and surprisingly easy, by Chris McMillan.

Post it note holder

The holder:
  • Create the holder by cutting charcoal card to 20cm x 9.5cm.
  • Score along the long edge at 9.5cm and 10.5cm and fold.
  • Stamp woodcut ladies (Blade Rubber BR004S) twice with stone gray Staz-On ink.
  • Colour one image with a selection of Marvy Le Plume marker pens.
  • Trim image along border lines and mount on charcoal card.
  • Layer on mauve card with foam pads and attach to cover of holder.
 Inside:
  • Stamp French script ( Hero Arts La Lettre) on top of the post it pad and attach to base.
  • Cut out the three ladies from the second stamped image and glue inside the front cover.
You might have seen this in Craft Stamper's March 2011 issue - but I've managed to get my hands on it to take some really nice closeup photos, so this is your chance to see exactly how Chris did it.

I think this is a great idea as a present to yourself, or a great gift for anyone who works in an office - with a holder like this, you'll never lose them!
