Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the lack of posts - my poor old computer has been in the repair shop (the hard disc totally crashed) and although it's up and running again, it's more of a limp than a sprint. It took over 5 tries to get my super new scanner/photocopier/printer to 'take' - hence I haven't been able to post this gorgeous artwork any earlier.

Cut white card to 5 ½” x 3 ½” (standard UK postcard size). Apply random patches of colour with Cut-n-Dry Foam using Aquatic Splash, Sea Breeze and Persimmon VersaMagic Inks. Keep the area where the face will be pale (it can be helpful to stamp the image on acetate first – this can be periodically positioned over the card as you build up the colour. Using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, stamp the border from Artemio clear stamp set (10001028), Da Vinci Woman (Blade Rubber unmounted plate BRPL009), Morning Mail (Blade Rubber BR065C) and Carte Postale from the Stampington Carte Postale clear stamp set (J6226). Highlight the headband using a Cut-n-Dry Nib to apply the colour.
