There is a wide choice of inexpensive table napkins and craft tissue available in every style and colour imaginable from cute to high art. Have you ever longed to capture and incorporate a particularly stunning design when card making? Well you can, and also cover containers and other objects.
As well as napkins, we have the common tissue paper with a host of exciting uses, rarely taught or written about in detail. The qualities of this fragile paper - scrunch, twist, layer, dye, stamp etc. allow the crafter many techniques not possible with thicker paper.
The above are easily mastered with exciting and surprising results, and there is the advantage of not needing lots of expensive supplies to start.
The class will include:
- Working with napkins - innovative designs, attaching to surfaces, over-stamping etc.
- Several techniques using tissue papers
- Ideas for using your samples.
- A worksheet to take home
- Lots of samples for inspiration
You don't need to be 'artistic' to try this class - surprise yourself!
