It's nearly HALLOWEEN

QUEEN FOR A DAY - Copyright Susie Jefferson
Well, September's nearly gone, and already our local shops are gearing up for Christmas - frightening or what!

So I though I'd better change the Blade Rubber blog background to a Halloween one rather quickly! Before we know it, it'll be Bonfire Night, Thanksgiving for the USA - and then a very fast segue into the full Christmas Season.

Wouldn't you know it - I couldn't find any Autumn-y cards in my stash, so here's a grunge one instead. At least the colours are right!

This card was made using an A4 sheet of brown card, top edge torn then rubbed with gilt cream. The top layer is another piece of brown card, also torn and treated in the same way, layered up with separate little tags partially stamped, mounted over the images underneath as a sort of decoupage (a giant sized tag with strips of sheet music collaged on top).

Hope it gives a little inspiration!
